Dreams Sands Cancun Resort & Spa

Dreams resorts recently took over this hotel and re-branded it into the lovely Dreams Sands Cancun Resort & Spa - some renovations are still underway and should be completed by January 2015.  It's located in the heart of Cancun's Hotel Zone, near the top of the "7" with the ocean on one side, and the lagoon on the other.  The beach is calm and quiet, you can walk out quite a distance at waist-deep water.

This resort is all-inclusive and as such your package will include:

For "Room Only" your booking includes:
1)  7 nights' all-inclusive accommodations (meals, snacks and unlimited beverages)
2)  All applicable taxes

The dress code is as follows... 

Casual
* Bermudas, long shorts or capri pants for the men, sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals
* Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up
* No sleeveless shirts for men

Casual Elegance
* Men must wear sneakers/tennis shoes or sandals and dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts.

* Long pants required for men.

* No sleeveless shirts (for the men) or flip-flops.
* Ladies, as long as you look lovely, you are good! 

Formal–

* Men must wear long pants, collared shirts and dress shoes.

* Women must wear blouses, skirts, slacks or dresses, with dress shoes.

As with all inclusive resorts, some things do cost extra, such as:
* medical / nursing services
* tours and excursions off resort
* spa / shopping / beauty services
* scuba diving / motorized sports
* specialty menu items
* private dinners
* internet / WiFi
* tipping (not mandatory, but appreciated by the hard-working staff)
